Trying to find answers or get help03/21/2011 09:03:41
I am 46 years old and have been a nail technician for the past 15 years. I had been having some of the worst pains and other symptoms since before summer of 2007. It began with pains in my neck, back and hips. Then I would get these terrible migraines that I could not even get out of bed, I couldn't handle light or sound and made me very nauseous. The pain was so bad one day that I broke and went to the ER. The doctor was rude as were the nurses, I assumed it was because I didn't have insurance. The doctor said I just get bad headaches and it is all menstrual related. Then why do I feel like this all the time. My legs will swell up and at times get rashes that take weeks to go away, my body aches all over, I get tingling and numbness in my hands and fingers. I went to a chiropractor and he said I have a pinched nerve in my neck and herniated disk in my back. So, I tried that for awhile, no help. After a round with many doctors, I was told I have Fibroblast. Ok, explains the pains and all. I never thought anything else, but after doing some research and all, I began to think otherwise. I have been told by my esthetican that I have rosacea, but now it is always there and my skin even gets dry and bumpy. The all over body pain, the tenderness, can't stand to be touched or hugged at time. My clothes even feel to heavy or tight and cause problems. I was a smoker until a year ago, quit cold turkey and always out of breath. I feel like I'm 80 years old at times. I just want to find answers and get some help. I make to much for welfare but not enough to by private insurance. Do any of you know where I can find some help?
