The Lupus Research Institute’s National Coalition

The advocacy arm of the Lupus Research Institute (LRI) is its National Coalition, a powerful network of state and local lupus organizations united to prevent, treat and cure lupus. The LRI unites patient groups from coast-to-coast through its National Coalition of members and partners. Each of these independent organizations backs the research efforts of the LRI and provides social services and educational programs for people with lupus in the local area.

Coalition groups provide brochures and information about the disease, referrals to qualified doctors in the community, help for obtaining proper diagnosis and treatment, support groups for mutual assistance and educational meetings in the community.
